In the endgame though, its a completely different expieirence, where a lot of the bosses are basically a walking wall of death, that kills the player instantly after touching them. Melee also have a lot of "HP on hit" items, which just feels like pure cheese to play Core Keeper Gameplay with, tbh.

Surprise Spawns: Some items are respawning when the player quits/enters the same world after being previously broken, like conterraneo wood roots, grass, and similar items. It goes without saying that these aren’t surprise gifts from a secret admirer and this shouldn’t be happening.

Boss fights range from fairly easy to pretty difficult. I haven't done all of them yet, but my impression is that all can be defeated solo. However, for some of them you may need to wait for specific items to drop, and their drop rate is very very low.

Boss order and world exploration are theoretically quite flexible, given this is a sandbox game. There is currently only one solid gate to progress: defeating the first 3 bosses. Which separates this guide into two parts.
